DANBURY, Conn— The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) is proud to announce its Esports All-Academic Honors for the Spring 2020 semester. To be eligible, each honoree must carry a grade point average of 3.2 or higher.
A total of 216 student-athletes form ECAC Esports member schools are being recognized for their academic achievements in the classroom.
University at Albany led the schools with 32 honorees while Long Island had 31 student-athletes achieve All-Academic honors. Saint Francis University and Johnson and Wales both had an impressive 19, Randolph-Macon College had 18 honorees, Arcadia University with 13, Central Methodist University with 13, and Thomas College with 12. Suny Postdam also placed 12 honorees and Siena Heights University added 11. Elmira College sent 8. Rounding out the group: Neumann University had 4, Texas Wesleyan University 4, Hood College 4, Illinois Wesleyan University 2, WVU Potomac State College 2, Farmingdale State College 2, Saint Rose 2, ECPI University 2, and DeSales University 1.
